ACCREDITATION
The Vancouver Art Therapy Institute (VATI) follows the educational guidelines of the Canadian Art Therapy Association (CATA) and is accredited through the Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB). From the PTIB website: “The Private Training Institutions Branch (PTIB) of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Skills & Training administers the Private Training Act and associated regulations.”

15-MONTH DIPLOMA PROGRAM
Our diploma program is a blended program designed for people with a Bachelor’s degree.
ADVANCED DIPLOMA PROGRAM
Our distance art therapy program is designed for 1) people with a Master’s degree or 2) people who are enrolled in the Master’s of Counselling: Art Therapy Specialization (MC:AT) through Athabasca University.
